On December 17th, 2018 we welcomed our first litter of Anatolian Shepherd puppies from T-Dog! There are 8 very healthy puppies. 5 girls and 3 boys! We were also excited to see 5 brindles in the litter. As they age the colours differences will be easier to notice. Here is a quick video of the Anatolian puppies at 3 weeks being ever so cute!! This is Foxhat Matter of Fact (Mattie), a 4 month old Anatolian Shepherd Dog, having a reunion with the sheep that she was raised with from 3 to 8 weeks of age. Do you have livestock or fowl that needs to be protected? There are several different methods that can be used. A livestock guardian dog is one of those options, but there are pros and cons. See if an LGD is right for you:

Their individual personalities are really starting to come out. Little Diamond girl is so saucy and tends to 'talk' Anatolian Shepherd at us rather than bark!
Full and Half, two lovely Dutch marked Anatolian puppies having a good nap! Although it is not easy to see in Gunther's photos, he is actually Dutch marked. In this litter of Gunther's there are three Dutch marked Anatolian Shepherd pups!
At just 8 days old I went to check on puppies and look what I found! One little puppy climbing away! Although she must have become tired and fallen asleep as she was passed out cold up there! :-)
Lane's grade 7 class were all required to make a "Passion Project", he chose Anatolian Shepherds as his topic! Here is a short video clip of the creative portion of his presentation. He was asked to present the project in front of the school board. Way to go Lane! |
